I just found one of the coolest and easiest ways to earn money or money towards apparel for a group! This morning while I was watching Doc McStuffins, I created a page for our Elkton Relay for Life to earn sponsorship of shirts!
Our Elkton Relay for Life event doesn’t take place until May, but we have the entire year to fundraise. Relay For Life is an overnight event for The American Cancer Society. The event celebrates those who have fought cancer and won, remember those who have lost the fight, and supports those still fighting the disease. Elkton Relay for Life's goal for our 2015 event is $150,000! We’ve just really started to kick off for 2015 and what a better way to kick off than to get some awesome shirts to spread the news!

Charlie was so excited about going to LEGO KidsFest! For us, Richmond is about a 3 hour drive (or it should be). Because of traffic and some construction, it took us about 4 hours to get there last night. Lucky for us, Charlie finally fell asleep and got in a nap!
After parking the car and walking to the convention center, we arrived at the event about 5PM.
It started at 4PM and we felt that we would still have plenty of time to see and do everything. I mean, how many hours can you spend looking at and playing with LEGO bricks?
The answer: unknown, but we were completely entertained for the 3.5 hours we were there.

We’re on our way to Myrtle Beach, so Mommom hit up the Just Between Friends sale for us today in Middletown, DE! Yes, I’m in the car on the laptop and will post this when we find wi-fi. Hey… what else am I supposed to do while in the car for 10 hours?

At the JBF sale this weekend, you’ll be able to find everything from car seats and strollers to juniors and maternity! If your kid needs it, chances are you can find it here!
My mom took my (much younger) step-sister to help her find some deals for the boys and some for herself too.
If you haven’t been to a large consignment sale before, it can definitely seem overwhelming. Lucky for us, mom is not a newb! She knows to throw everything in the bag if you might possibly want to purchase it and look through later to re-evaluate your shopping bag.

The tour was just in Philadelphia last week and now it’s coming to Baltimore! Since I’m located right between the two, they’re both local for us! That also means another giveaway for you!

That means nearly 1 in 8 people experience hunger, and for children, that figure increases to 1 in 6. The Hungry for Happiness mobile tour will visit Philadelphia this week to help raise awareness about the issue of childhood hunger and increase participation in free summer meals sites for kids located in the area.
Kids need to eat year-round, but only 18.7 percent of children in Pennsylvania who rely on free or reduced-price school lunches currently participate in a summer meal program. This weekend was our anniversary weekend. Charlie and Daddy went camping with a church group Friday night and then I picked them back up on Saturday afternoon. They had a lot of fun and we can’t wait to go camping again.
Saturday night, everyone was exhausted and we tried to crash early, but the boys weren’t having it.
My grandparents came up for a quick visit from Kentucky. After church on Sunday, we all went to the Havre de Grace Seafood Festival. It was our first time going (even though I’ve lived here forever) and we’ll definitely be returning next year!
