We bought several packs of stickers for the walls and put some up. Charlie had a great plan sometime during the night and tried to rearrange them. In the morning, we found stickers all over, stuck together and torn. I had a very upset little boy and he wanted daddy to “fix it”. Daddy’s good, but he can’t put stickers back together.
Let me introduce you to Wallies. I was sent a Wall Play set to review.
About Town allows your child to create their own picture on their wall. You receive one large sheet and then a sheet of smaller stickers to go on the big sheet (or anywhere else in the room). And the best part about it, they can move around and be repositioned easily, perfect for my Charlie.
With the other wall stickers we’ve tried, they are very difficult to pull off their sheets. I’ve ripped several myself before they even make it to the wall. Charlie was able to pull these off himself and place it on his picture. For any child, independence is a huge thing and Charlie loves doing
As you can see, Charlie LOVED these. He’s a rough little boy and even the little helicopter blades were able to withstand his play. I love that these are strong enough to be played with, they are adorable and extremely bright, and they won’t leave my wall sticky.
I will say to be careful they don’t fold over on each other though. They are fine if you pile them on top of each other, but if they fold over (sticky part to sticky part) it’s a bit difficult to get them apart. I said difficult, not impossible though! We were able to “fix it” and the world was right again.
I have no doubt these will get a ton of play and they look great in his room.
Here’s his completed work of art (for the night):
Wallies has growth charts, dry-erase, chalkboards, vinyl headboards, frames, art, and other wall play designs.
Look at the Wallies website for all the options and I’m sure you’ll find something you can use in your house.
You can also find Wallies on Facebook!

ReplyDeleteThese are cute! I'm already thinking of what I can do to dress my son's room up in the next year. It's fairly neutral-themed right now, with a few monkeys. Nothing too "baby" at the moment, but I think he would love a transportation theme.
ReplyDeleteI really love this idea! I wish I would have thought this up for my daughter's room when she was that age. She used to love the Velcro books where she could stick on the people in animals.
