Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Fun

I received a Media Pass for free access to select attractions in Myrtle Beach.

I can’t believe our kid-free trip to Myrtle Beach was almost a month ago! While we were there, we spent an afternoon at the Boardwalk. Although we’ve been to the boardwalk with the kids, this time was very different!

There is always something fun going on at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk! Check out these ideas!

Our Getaway to Crown Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach

I won a trip from Purex Insiders and Crown Reef Resort, but all opinions are our own.

We just got back from an amazing 4 nights away! When was the last time you went away without the kids? For us, it had been since our honeymoon (a little over 4 years ago).

Instead of that long drive (which we just took 3 weeks prior with the boys), we flew from BWI to Myrtle Beach. I didn’t even realize MB had an airport, but they do! It’s small and cute, but has everything you need. The Crown Reef Resort shuttle picked us up from baggage claim and dropped us off at the resort check-in. I was a little nervous about arriving so early in the morning (10am) and that our room wouldn’t be ready, but after just about 10 minutes, we were handed our keys and off we went!

Our Family Day at Longwood Gardens

Yesterday we took the boys to Longwood Gardens. My mom had won tickets last year at a Christmas bazaar, but forgot to use them until this past weekend. Turns out they expired 9/30, so they went on Sunday and we went Monday. I was a little leery about taking the boys because it’s basically just looking at flowers, right?

Wrong. We arrived right around 11am and didn’t leave until almost 4! That’s a long time of looking at flowers! It has been about 8 or 9 years since I was last at Longwood Gardens and that was before I was a mommy. I didn’t realize there were so many things for the kids to enjoy there!

Rainy Day at Fun Warehouse

While we were on vacation in Surfside Beach, we (of course) had a rainy day. If it were just Tom and I, that would be a welcomed inside day of movies and naps. To anyone with little ones, it’s a small panic attack.

After our breakfast and some lounge time, we headed to Fun Warehouse. During the week, they don’t open until 12, which kind of bummed me out.

The first thing we decided to do was play in the soft play area and the inflatables.

Wordless Wednesday: Vacation

I haven’t even uploaded all the pictures from my camera yet, but did download the 300 (not exaggerating) from my phone.

We had a fantastic vacation and enjoyed our much needed family time!
