I’m very proud to be a Bravado Designs Mama for 2014! Throughout the year I’ll be sent samples of new products and new colors.
If you’ve ever attempted breastfeeding, you know the ups and downs that you’ll encounter. Breastfeeding can seriously wear you down. Most days I feel completely gross, sitting at home in my chair all day basically just switching Owen from one side to the other. I read a post last week from another mom that said she wasn’t sure why people needed to wear nursing bras and I was completely blown away by it. She said you should be able to easily do it wearing your normal bra. Clearly, she never nursed a baby full-time. I’m sure that most breastfeeding moms feel very similar to the way I feel. We need to feel like a woman again, not a milk machine. Bravado! Designs allows me feel like a woman, but allows me to be nurse my baby whenever, wherever I need to.
Their bras are pricey, but totally worth it! For nursing bras, I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for”.
The Essential Embrace is my favorite nursing bra that I have as of now, but I’m sure throughout this year that I’ll fall in love with a few new ones. This bra does not have underwire, but you’d swear it does because of the support it has. Nursing mamas know how important skin to skin is for babies. The Essential Embrace has a full drop away cup which allows for maximum skin to skin contact. The fabric is patent pending Bravado Dynatex™ fabric, which combines premium cotton and luxurious microfiber. It’s like all of my pre-pregnancy bras and it makes me feel amazing!
A bra with the right fit (and holds the ladies up where they’re supposed to) really can make your entire day.
You can like Bravado Designs on Facebook, follow them on Twitter, or visit their website.
Another reason why I love Bravado Designs is their supportive community. You can find great information for any stage of pregnancy or nursing on their website.
I look forward to sharing some new products with you as we continue our breastfeeding journey!
I am a full time breastfeeding mom, I know how you feel about sitting around just switching sides! I have to admit i do wear a normal bra when i wear one at all. i dont like to be go out with just a nursing bra haha. But it definitely wears on the normal bras. if i paid a lot for them i probably would NOT breastfeed in it! Hope you get lots of useful stuff!
ReplyDeleteThese are totally go out on the town bras too. They really feel like normal bras, except you have easy access to the goods :)
ReplyDeleteHi! Stopping by from Mom Bloggers Club. Great blog!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this nursing bra! I should've given it a try when I was nursing.
ReplyDeleteI wish I would've known about this line of bras when I was nursing my two boys. I always used a nursing bra; it just made life so much easier!
ReplyDeleteI didn't use a nursing bra when I breastfeed my kidlets. I think I just used a soft bra so the twins were easily accessible. Sounds like a great bra.
ReplyDeleteI didn't breastfeed my daughter when she was born so I guess this counts me out of this! I do have MANY friends that have and still do breastfeed their babies and would appreciate a great quality nursing bra like this!
ReplyDeleteI good nursing bra is essential. They didn't have as many great options 24 years ago when I was breastfeeding.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who's just getting ready to have her first baby - will share this with her! She needs larger sizes, going to see if they have them! :)
ReplyDeleteThey do up to L or M!
ReplyDeleteI never breast fed my Daughter so I have no idea what you girls go through. I only bottle fed.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great bra. While I did not nurse my daughter, I can see how necessary it is for a good nursing bra~
ReplyDeleteLooks like an awesome bra. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhen I nursed my son I didn't wear a nursing bra, just used a regular one. I wish I had known about these! The support was my issue as far as "needing" that underwire. The next time I nurse I'll have to check this bra out!
ReplyDeleteThese are the bras I used when I was nursing. I loved them!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was nursing, I actually made my own because I couldnt find the right nursing bra. This bra looks nice!
ReplyDeleteI always loved bravado! my girlfriend is pg with baby 1 I think i'm going to get her a bravado when the baby comes and she's nursing :)
ReplyDeleteYou totally get what you pay for - and I agree, she must not have been fully breastfeeding or wasn't on the go!
ReplyDeleteInteresting Bra. I've never had a need for a breastfeeding bra, or well...breastfeeding anything, but I have a few Mommy friends who might find this useful.
ReplyDeleteA bra designed for breastfeeding is a must! Great review
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great nursing bra!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good nursing bra. I bf all three of my kids and I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for when it comes to nursing bras!
ReplyDeleteI never owned a good nirsing bra when I nursed my kids..maybe that is why it only lasted 3 months each go!
ReplyDeleteI am not nursing my baby, but I did try the first few days. There is no way I could've manage all the time without a good bra!
ReplyDeleteA good nursing bra is essential when breastfeeding. I was so glad I had a great one when I was nursing.
ReplyDeleteThis nursing bra looks extremely comfortable. I will share this post with my mom to be friends.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really comfortable nursing bra! Congratulations on being an ambassador, I can't wait to see what you try out next!
ReplyDeleteA good nursing bra is so important and makes breastfeeding go much smoother! Congrats on working with them!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great nursing bra - I definitely wish I would of invested in one when my kids were little.
ReplyDeleteThis bra looks stylish and comfortable and those things are so important. I never needed nursing bras, but I understand their importance for those who use them.
ReplyDeleteThese sound great! I also believe you get what you pay for with a lot of things.
ReplyDeleteI love Bravado bras! I still wear them, even when not nursing.
ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law was complaining with my nephew about how all the breastfeeding bras were super bulky and unattractive. I think I'll let her know about these for if she decides to try again.
ReplyDeleteThey look very comfortable and that's a good sign. Thanks for sharing this important information for nursing moms.
ReplyDeleteOMG I struggle with this constantly. I can never find the right size/best fitting bra. I even went to the Double Divas. I cannot breathe and I feel that my lungs are constricted in the five bras I bought there.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I really wish they came out with these great products back when I was nursing.
