In the giveaway for the Purex Crystals Dryer Sheets, I asked readers to tell me their uses for dryer sheets. I was so impressed with the responses, I wanted to share with everyone! I had no idea the crazy ways you can use dryer sheets.
You can use dryer sheets:
- to freshen the inside of shoes
- inside dresser drawers
- in gym bags
- (used dryer sheets) to collect pet hair and lint off clothing
- to remove bugs off your car
- to keep your car fresh (hide it under the driver’s seat)
- to reduce static in your hair
- in a sealed tote to freshen things that cannot easily be washed
- in stored luggage
- outside in cracks around the house to keep the wasps from building nests
- on the baseboards to help keep them clean
- to line the litter box
- to dust
- to repel gnats
- to prevent mice from coming in an RV
- in your AC or heater units to freshen up the room
- in closets
- in diapers that you can’t throw away immediately (think diaper bag here!)
- in the bottom of a trashcan
- to clean your television, keyboard, computer or any other electronics
Most of these will work with used dryer sheets as well! Reuse those ones from your laundry!
If you have any other ideas, please share in the comments below!
